Senior Accountant Wanted Full Time

Reputed Shipping Company has immediate opening for Senior Accountant. The role shall be primarily responsible for providing accurate and efficient accounting services to operations department, including parables, receivables, overheads expenses, assistance in compiling yearly budget preparation for the department and inter-company reconciliation and settlement. The position shall involve ensuring consistently adherence to corporate policies and procedures of the accounting activities. The incumbent shall provide support to all Streams (mainly Marine, Survey, Navy and Logistics) by furnishing all the important debts data to the department teams that facilitates timely debts’ collection Candidate profile:

Essential
1. Minimum 4 –5 years’ experience in accounting functions.
2. Advanced Accounting degree /Post-Graduation in Finance
3. Excellent communication skills in English language.
4. Excellent computer skills, with depth knowledge of the Advanced Excel programme.
5. Good interpersonal communications skills.
6. Attentive to the minute details.
7. Attentive to accurate data ability
8. Analytical Thinking.
9. Ethical and strict adherence to compliance. Adherence to Company policies, culture, guidelines.
10. Transferable visa

Desirable
• Intermediate in professional accounting (CA, ACCA, CMA, etc)
• Shipping and Logistics background.
• Arabic reading/writing skills is an added advantage
