Financial Analyst Needed Full Time

Leading Organization based in Kuwait is looking for the position of Financial Analyst.

JOB ROLE Preparation of management reports and presentations primarily consisting of Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, projects on hand, variance analysis, and ratio analysis. Schedules of balance sheet inventory & receivable aging report. In-depth Profit and Loss variance analysis (MTD & YTD) with budget and previous years. (Comparable period analysis). GL to Project & Project to GL reconciliation for lost, revenue and work – in Progress & billing. Proficient knowledge of ERP systems preferably in Oracle (Any other ERP knowledge is also acceptable) Monthly review of the Trial Balance and General Ledger to ensure complete accuracy. Review and analyze monthly project cost vis-à-vis budgets. Monthly calculation of revenue recognition and accounting in the system. Ensure correct accounting workflow in the ERP (Oracle) System for all transactions. Liaise with the auditor to complete the year-end audit on time by providing full audit requirement to Auditors. Leading financial reporting projects and project profitability analysis reports. Preparation of annual business plan. ·Identifying potential business/internal control weaknesses and highlighting them in the monthly reporting process. Automation of various reports (Excel, Macro) and develop inbuilt checks and balances to identify any reporting errors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Finance Manager/CFO in analyzing transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved. Monitor and assures compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, regulations and applicable laws. Work with both internal and external auditors during financial & operational audit. Undertake any other duties relevant to the key tasks and responsibilities identified by the Finance Manager/CFO.

QUALIFICATIONS CA/CPA/ACCA (Part Qualified candidates are equally acceptable) Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Finance or a similar discipline. 5-7 years of experience in finance and accounting preferably in the contracting industry. Auditing experience in a reputed audit firm will be added advantage. Knowledge (IFRS) and their application to routine and complex business transactions.
