Job Description : Planning Engineer
Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering Practical Experience Experience of not less than five years with Primavera P6
Documents Needed
• Work Experience Certificates
• Qualification Certificates (The academic certificates for engineers must be documented and from bodies recognized by Scientific and academic institutions in the State of Kuwait.) These are the skill that should have the new planner.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
• WBS – Activities management;
• Filters;
• Layout;
• Resources;
• Import / Export from-to Excel;
• Global Changes;
• Reporting in excel sheets. Tables and Graphs
• Power Point
• Data collection;
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM);
• Knowledge of Risk Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Planning Engineer activities shall basically concern the Planning, Monitoring, which shall be implemented and maintained in the frame of the project. The Planning Engineer activities shall be carried out all the below listed technical milestones: Preparation and issue of the Time Schedule “Baseline” using PRIMAVERA latest version as planning tool. Such Time Schedule “Baseline” (and any further update) shall meet the requirement of a CPM Level 5 as minimum. Revisions/Updates of the Planning and Control System:
• Templates
• Metrics
• Schedule
• Algorithms Preparation and issue of the 45 look-ahead CPM to be annexed to the “Project Monthly Progress Report” and support in the preparation and issue of the “Project Monthly Progress Report” (e.g reports/tables/data extracted from the CPM) Monthly updates of the Master Schedule (CPM Level 5) Participation to any Progress Meeting Additional Information.
