Administrative Officer – Engineering Environment
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and manage daily office operations, ensuring alignment with engineering team workflows
– Prepare, format, and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance schedules, design reports, and tender submissions
– Support procurement activities by handling vendor correspondence, tracking quotations, and organizing technical evaluations
– Translate technical documents and correspondence (English/Arabic) to ensure clarity across multilingual teams
– Organize meetings, site visits, and project timelines, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and updated
– Maintain records of equipment, contracts, and service logs in compliance with engineering and safety standards
– Assist with reviewing and rephrasing technical and contractual communications for accuracy and professionalism
– Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal engineers to support compliance and project documentation
– Handle submission of regulatory forms and tender documents, ensuring completeness and adherence to industry standards – Track project milestones, update dashboards, and generate periodic progress reports for engineering leadership
Skills & Qualifications:
– Background in an engineering or technical environment with understanding of systems, workflows, and industry terminology
– Proficient in Arabic and English, with experience in professional translation and communication
– Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
– Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word for structured reporting
– Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and uphold procedural clarity
