Job Title: eCommerce Technical Specialist

Job Summary: The eCommerce Technical Specialist will play a crucial role in the implementation, maintenance, and administration of our eCommerce systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage eCommerce operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in key coding languages to ensure that our eCommerce solutions are robust, align with our business strategies, and deliver outstanding user experiences.

Key Responsibilities: Technical Coordination: Coordinate with the development team in building and optimizing eCommerce solutions. Ensure technical solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet high standards of functionality and security. Technical Requirement Setup: Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements. Work closely with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and how they can be supported through eCommerce technology.

Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment on objectives and expectations.

Quality Assurance: Coordinate testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the performance and reliability of eCommerce platforms.

Vendor Coordination: Work with external vendors and service providers to ensure that services and products meet our requirements and standards.

eCommerce Administration: Manage product listings, descriptions, and images to ensure accuracy and optimization for search engines and user experience. Oversee pricing and inventory management to align with sales strategies and stock availability. Monitor and report on the performance of the eCommerce platform, analyzing traffic, sales data, and customer engagement to inform future decisions.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to eCommerce platforms, operations, and administration tasks. Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Familiarity with Python and Ruby is a plus. Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with product management, SEO, and data analytics in an eCommerce setting. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in eCommerce development or a related technical role, with hands-on experience in eCommerce administration.
