Electrical Draftsman required Full Time

Location: Farwaniya, Kuwait
Contract Duration: 2 years
Renewable Type of Hire: Secondment Contract (Under Brunel’s Visa & Pay Rolling)

Key Responsibilities:
• Telemetry System Drafting: Producing detailed schematics and layouts for Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), data loggers, sensors, and instrumentation specific to telemetry applications.
• Electrical Design for Remote Sites: Creating clear, accurate electrical schematics, power distribution diagrams (including solar/battery backup systems), and control panel layouts for remote and often unmanned telemetry stations.
• Communication Network Layouts: Designing and drafting detailed communication network diagrams for telemetry data transmission, including: o Communication equipment Cubicle designing o Network infrastructure plans, rack elevations, and connectivity schematics for SCADA / control rooms.

Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Associate’s degree or Technical Diploma in Electrical Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman, with a strong focus on electrical, communication network, and specifically telemetry systems.
• Proven experience with designing and drafting for:
o SCADA/DCS systems, RTUs, PLCs, and industrial instrumentation. o Remote data acquisition and control systems.
o Wireless communication infrastructure (radio, cellular, satellite for data).
o Power systems for remote sites (e.g., 48VDC system, UPS).
• Experience in sectors such as utilities (water, wastewater, power), oil & gas, environmental monitoring, smart cities, or transportation is highly desirable.
