Junior Quantity Surveyor Required Full Time

Position Open: Junior Quantity Surveyor (JQS) Number of Vacancy: 1 Job Location: Sharq, Kuwait City, Kuwait Additional Job Locations: May be asked to visit other project locations within Kuwait Job Responsibilities:
• Perform Material Take-offs from Tenders, Contracts and Construction Drawings
• Develop Bill of Quantities from Tender or Contract Documents, Drawings, or Specifications
• Develop Bill of Materials from Tender or Contract Documents, Drawings, or Specifications
• Maintain databases of Materials, costs, labor rates, and other relevant quantities Additional Responsibilities:
• This is a junior role with minor responsibilities but will slowly progress toward major responsibilities commensurate to the candidate’s loyalty to the company.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Must be able to join within 2 months (exceptions will be considered)
• Any college graduate with quantity surveying specialty or experience is welcome
• (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
Skill Qualifications:
• Excellent English comprehension and writing skill
• Adept at industrial softwares such as AutoCAD, Excel, or Microsoft Access Other Advantageous qualifications (but not required):
• Preferably be already in Kuwait
• Actual experience in construction or in the industry (including internships or apprenticeships) • Arabic Language Skill Compensation:
• Salary: KD 300 (US$ 1,000)
• Transportation Allowance

• Paid Annual Vacation Leave (eligible after 9 months)
