The candidate will report directly to the Chief Accountant. In this role the candidate will support management in both purchasing and administrative duties. The job responsibilities include:
• Assist management with various tasks pertaining to purchasing
• Send inquiries to vendors, receive quotes, compare prices from prior purchases, send purchase orders to vendors
• Track shipments, request shipping documents from vendors, and report shipment status to management
• Contact freight forwarders to obtain quotation for shipment from vendor location to destination
• Assist sales staff in inventory control
• Perform data entry pertaining to inventory management
• Send/Receive correspondence internally and externally via email/phone. File all correspondence and important documents.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Excellent command in spoken and written English
• Highly proficient computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Fast learner, eager to learn and contribute
• Bachelors degree (preferably in a technical discipline)
• 1-2 years work experience in a similar field
• Must hold Visa No. 18
