Procurement Officer Electrical Materials construction Needed Full Time

Responsibilities: Procurement Planning: Identify the electrical materials and equipment required for various projects. Work closely with project managers to determine the timelines and budgets for each procurement. Vendor Management: Source and establish relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts to ensure the best pricing and timely delivery. Ordering and Receiving: Place orders for electrical materials and ensure their timely and safe delivery. Verify the received materials for quality and quantity against invoices and contracts. Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels and reorder materials as necessary to prevent project delays.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Prepare reports on procurement and usage of electrical materials. Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and standards, and local and international laws. Cost Management: Identify opportunities to make procurement processes more efficient and cost-effective.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in electrical procurement or a similar role. Strong knowledge of electrical materials and equipment. Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and databases. Good understanding of supply chain procedures. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to work well with a team and independently.
