Project Manager – Oil & Gas Projects Full Time

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in substation automation systems within the oil and gas industry.

The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of automation-focused substation projects, ensuring successful delivery in alignment with technical standards, budget constraints, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in oil & gas environments.
2. Enforce quality standards, Address and resolve technical challenges and delays in a proactive manner.
3. Coordinate and communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
4. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, coordinate with HSE teams, and mitigate risks effectively.
5. Review and validate technical documentation, including Engineering, Documents, Drawings schematics, wiring diagrams, and shop drawings, etc. 6.Develop and monitor schedules, address delays, and implement necessary adjustments.
7.Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and oversee progress to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. 8.Track budgets, manage supplier payments, and apply cost-saving measures to maintain financial control.
9.Mentor engineers, deliver training, and maintain project documentation while preparing progress reports for senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification (preferred).
3. Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience within the oil & gas sector (preferred).
4. Deep understanding of LAN & Telecom & security systems.
5. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
6. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-vendor environments.
7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
8. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
9. Hold a valid Kuwaiti driving license and possess a private vehicle for site mobility.
