Senior Accountant required Full Time

A General Trading Company specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Oil Field Accessories, located in Al Rai, is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
•Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
•Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing.
•Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
•Supervise and mentor junior accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting policies.
•Identify areas for process improvement and recommend efficient accounting practices.

Basic Requirements:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus).
•Experience: 6+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in trading or industrial sectors.
•Language: Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
