Senior HSE Officer Need Full Time

We’re a medium to large sized transport business, looking for an Senior HSE Officer to join our Team in Ahmadi Kuwait. Role:

To lead the development, promotion and implementation of a Health and Safety Culture within the company by embedding policy into practice, sharing good practice and disseminating information across the organisation. Working within our HSE function, your duties will be varied but will include:
• Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the company.
• Monitor and review regular site performance through daily /weekly / monthly inspections and audits, including assessment of all Risk Assessments and Method Statements ensuring Company policies and procedures are implemented appropriately. Recording any findings, highlighting any areas for improvement as well as any required modification to existing policies or procedures.
• Ensure full implementation of the Company’s Accident Reporting Procedur
• Liaise and represent the Company at relevant external forums. What You’ll Need to Bring:
• NEBOSH general certificate, or equivalent
• 3-5 Years of experience within a Similar role in KUWAIT
• Fluency in reading and writing of English. MUST be able to speak Hindi / Urdu
• Transferrable visa (No.18) – NO PROJECT VISA
• Experience in producing reports
• Experience of translating policy into practice through a variety of approache
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply Health and Safety rules
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages
• An organised approach, sharp attention to detail, and a talent for working quickly and accurately to deadlines
• A great team ethic, coupled with excellent communication and reporting skills These things could be an advantage: • Valid Kuwaiti driving license
• Technical knowledge of heavy equipment such as trucks, cranes etc. What we’ll give you in return:
