Sr. Accountant – Jewelry
Introduction
We are looking for a focused, smart and industrious Sr. Accountant to join our growing Jewelry Business. As a Senior Accountant, you will provide vital support to the Finance Manager to help streamline the company’s financial processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Analyze financial information and support for preparing financial statements
• Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets
• Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures
• Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries
• Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions.
• Have knowledge around Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and balance financial records
• Keep updated budgets; able to handle monthly payroll disbursements and invoices, and confirm expense vouchers and purchase orders
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies. Complete end of month close procedures.
• Utilize database management systems to maintain up-to-date record keeping of financial documents.

Qualification & Experience
• Must have very good understanding of different terms commonly used in Gold/Silver/Diamond Jewelry accounting.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Local Jewelry Accounting is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables
• Driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
• Candidate should be available locally with visa 18 transferable.
• Immediate joiner, Indian Male preferred.
