The System Administrator (SA) plays a critical role in the Information Technology Department, overseeing and maintaining the organization’s technical infrastructure. This includes planning, implementing, and managing various systems, software, and network configurations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Configure and maintain Odoo ERP systems to support business operations. Manage Google Workspace user accounts and licenses to ensure secure and efficient access to resources. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for software and hardware issues, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks. Proactively monitor and manage VoIP servers to minimize downtime and ensure high-quality communication services. Configure and maintain network infrastructure to support data transfer and connectivity needs. Administer and support core Microsoft technologies, including Windows and Office applications. Maintain accurate inventory and asset configuration documentation to ensure effective resource management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and network vendors and solutions. Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to internal customers, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Participate in after-hours support for critical infrastructure-related emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Complete special projects and tasks as assigned by management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in helpdesk or system administration, with a focus on technical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of Odoo ERP systems and their applications. Strong understanding of local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) protocols and architectures. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify effective solutions. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT hardware. Behavioral Skills Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
