Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Thabt’s Kuwait City office. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements. The Accountant will also assist with budget forecasting, tax preparation, and compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience with accounting software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work independently and within a team
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Knowledge of local accounting regulations and tax laws in Kuwait is a plus.
