Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Draftsman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for various projects. Responsibilities:
– Prepare and revise technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
– Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency of designs
– Conduct site visits to gather information and take measurements as required
– Develop and maintain drawing standards, templates, and libraries
– Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
– Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members
Requirements:
– Diploma or degree in Drafting, Design, or related field
– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in drafting and design
– Proficient in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit) – Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
