New opportunity for a tour leader for tours of religious and cultural sites across the Middle East. The candidate would be expected to organize and lead pre-planned tours around various countries in the region and a variety of significant sites. Must be available for regular travel around the region. The individual must be able to work 3-4 says per month with the potential to increase the number of days in the future. A successful candidate would need to be flexible, but this opportunity could fit around other personal and professional commitments. This is not a full-time position. Visa sponsorship not available.
Required Skills:
– Industry expertise: a strong foundation in the tourism or travel sector.
– Regional specialization: proven experience in planning and leading trips around the Middle East.
– Self-motivation and autonomy: the ability to work independently, taking initiative and making decisions with minimal supervision.
– Flexibility and adaptability: the capacity to respond to changing circumstances and tight deadlines, with a willingness to work at short notice.
– Readiness to travel: a willingness to travel frequently around the region and possibly beyond to support the business.
– Language skills: Fluency in one or more of the following languages: Arabic, Persian (Farsi), or Turkish, with the ability to communicate effectively in these languages.
– English proficiency: a strong working knowledge of English to enable effective communication with colleagues and clients who speak a diverse range of languages.
