Elevator Inspector Required Full Time

Elevator Inspector should have the following qualifications.

1. Should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
2. Should be fluent in English.
3. Minimum 10 years of work experience after graduation with 5 years of experience in inspections of geared and gearless elevators.
4. Knowledge of personal safety practices necessary to perform acceptance inspections for new constructions and routine/periodic inspections of existing equipments.
5. Ability to read architectural and installation drawings, including well and machine room layout.
6. Knowledge of the purpose and function of lift systems, including machines, motors, governors, and other machine room equipment, controllers, position devices, door operation systems, equipment pit, electrical devices.
7. Working knowledge of mechanical principles as applied to structures, machines, mechanisms and the effect of traction on ropes and sheaves.
8. Working knowledge of hydraulic principles as applied to the operation of valves, pumps, plungers, piping and buffers.
9. Working knowledge of electrical circuit construction principles including voltage, current and resistance, series and parallel circuits, earthing.
10. Ability to inspect all electrical connection, trouble shooting of all electrical oriented problems.
11. Responsible for ensuring safety requirements are followed at site as per safety standards.
