IT System Admin – NOC and L2 Support Needed Full Time

A leading bank in Kuwait is looking for candidates with specific skillsets of NOC and L2 support. Skillset Requirements: – Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in information technology or related fields.
– Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in IT environments, preferably in the banking sector. The responsibilities of the L2 Engineers include but are not limited to the following: Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Monitor infrastructure and application availability, health, and performance. Keep thorough, clear, and complete records in the ticketing system of all actions taken. Receive inbound requests through phone, email, chat, or other means based on the documented agreement with bank Receive inbound alerts or system notifications. Analyze, categorize, prioritize, assign, and track all inbound requests and alerts. Track incidents until successfully resolved. Perform periodic availability & performance reporting to support capacity planning. Manage, tune, and administer bank monitoring tools. Check systems/appliances reports daily and assign them to the responsible team. Escalate and notify based on the communication plan. Deliver monthly or ad-hoc reports as per bank procedures.
Restart the applications in production environments according to the bank restart. procedure upon approval by bank owners. Maintain bank SLAs. Push patches/updates in coordination with Application Team. Perform Software distribution/release for applications and solutions. Troubleshoot application issues. Monitor banking batch jobs. Perform shift handover. Conduct application management activities such as but not limited to: Adding new servers or configuration entities Restarting a server or device Changing application mode or service status Monitoring application alerts, interfaces, and integrations Performing software distribution Changing applications configurations Stopping or starting of devices, applications, interfaces, and processes.
