Responsible for managing and executing the organization’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage with audiences, and drive website traffic or conversions. This includes creating, curating, and publishing content, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with trends.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation and Management:
• Develop, plan, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) across various social media platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, photographers, or videographers to create high-quality visuals.
• Write compelling captions and posts that align with brand voice and tone.
2. Platform Management:
• Manage day-to-day operations of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
• Schedule posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
3. Engagement and Community Management:
• Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly, and monitor audience feedback.
• Build and nurture online communities to enhance user engagement.
4. Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with marketing goals.
• Identify target audiences and adapt strategies accordingly.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
• Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth.
• Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing performance.
6. Trend Monitoring:
• Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates.
• Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
7. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed to gather content and information.
8. Campaign Management:
• Plan and execute social media campaigns (e.g., paid ads, giveaways, events).
• Monitor campaign performance and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing social media accounts for businesses or organizations.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite).
• Strong communication, writing, and editing skills.
• Creative thinking with the ability to develop engaging content.
• Basic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar software (preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
