A well-established manufacturing company in Kuwait is looking for a Financial Manager Responsibilities
1. Provide Costing reports/financial reports and interpret information to managerial staff while recommending further course of action.
2. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contribution, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
3. Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
4. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
5. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
6. Manage the preparation of company’s budget
7. Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
8. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Requirements
1. Minimum 10 years work experience preferably in the manufacturing sector with previous possible roles such as Financial Manager/financial analyst
2. Proficient user of finance software/ERP software
3. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
4. Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
5. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
6. Bachelors/master’s degree in finance/accounting
7. Professional qualification such as CMA/ICWA or similar will be considered a plus
8. Valid Kuwait Visa (transferable)
