Warehouse Operations Coordinator required Full Time

Job Purpose: The Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehouse activities. This role includes managing Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), barcoding of products, arranging stock in designated areas, and performing internal transfers between warehouse locations and retail outlets. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing storage spaces, and facilitating internal logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Goods Receipt Note (GRN) Management: – Process and verify Goods Receipt Notes for incoming stock. – Ensure accurate matching of GRN with supplier invoices and delivery notes. – Report any discrepancies or damages in received goods.

2. Stock Barcoding: – Ensure all incoming products are correctly labeled and barcoded. – Maintain the barcode system for efficient stock tracking and management. – Assist with inventory audits by ensuring that barcodes are correctly recorded in the system.

3. Stock Arrangement & Organization: – Organize stock in designated storage areas according to product categories and warehouse layout. – Ensure stock is stored in a manner that maximizes space utilization and easy retrieval. – Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces.

4. Internal Stock Transfers: – Coordinate and manage the transfer of stock between different warehouse locations and retail stores. – Ensure that all internal transfers are accurately documented and tracked. – Oversee the safe and timely movement of goods, ensuring minimal damage.

5. Inventory Management: – Assist with regular stock audits and inventory checks to ensure accuracy. – Ensure that stock levels are updated and recorded correctly in the system. – Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory discrepancies are resolved.

6. Collaboration with Other Teams: – Communicate effectively with the retail team, purchasing team, and warehouse manager to ensure stock availability and smooth transfers. – Ensure timely communication regarding any stock shortages, discrepancies, or concerns related to internal transfers.

7. Safety and Compliance: – Adhere to all safety standards and procedures within the warehouse. – Ensure that all stock handling and internal transfers comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
• Knowledge of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and barcoding systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and move stock when required.
• Forklift certification (if applicable) is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
